I haven'e been able to find a replacement tank at a reasonable price. It looks as though it may have to be a repair job. As I haven't been able to locate a workshop manual can any one give me an idea of how easy/hard it will be to remove the tank?

The tank is easy but it sometimes gets stuck in position after a long time.

Disconnect the fuel lines at the top of the tank from underneath.

Disconnect the filler tube at the big rubber bit.(you maybe able to leave the filler tube in there)

Remove the tank cover and undo the straps holding the tank in position

There is also a bung if you want empty the tank

This site has free manuals. The 2nd from the top is the factory 84 -90 body chassis manual which is for all 60 and 70 series

This is a EPC which has approximate prices attached to the part numbers .Very useful;)
