Armrest..anyone Tried This?

just wondering if anyone had tried one of these, they regularly appear on eBay

I've looked at them, the only thing I can see is you might loose the rear cupholder.

That puts me off because I regularly have my grandaughter in the car and she puts her bottle of water there.

I've got a similar type aftermarket center armrest.

After 2 years I'm still very happy with it.

can you get to the hand brake ok ?

seems like its in the way and would be awkward to grab

AFAIK the armrest can be flipped up to get to your CD's ofr the parking brake.

And they all seem to be mounted on/over/in the rear center cupholder.

The center armrest is fitted on top of the rear cupholder, see the pictures.

You only need to drill 4 small holes and use 4 screws, that's it!!

A couple of things:

Can you still put your hand brake on?????

How do you put all the pics on a post without doing the upload attachments which just shows a link. I've done it before but can't remember?

Yes, you can still operate the handbrake.

I "hotlink" the image from my webspace using the img-tags.

Unirust makes an Armrest that mounts to the seatback:

But this will involve way more fiddling to mount, including cutting a hole in the seatcover.

It's also something like twice the price of one that mounts on the cupholder.
