How about making this sticky or adding it to the knowledge base ?

I cant see the service sheet as wont open properly but, if the sheet says an air filter is due @ X,000 miles but it is filthy/blocked will less miles done then the dealership will always advise changing it at the present service. Service sheets are good but not if soenthing needs changing before then it should be done really.

Quite right too! A blocked air filter can cause all sorts of nastiness.

I wonder if you can answer this: I found this document too last week (jinx!!) but was a little confused as to why the service interval at the top is 9000, yet there are inspections and replacements every 4500. Any idea why that is? I hope I don't have to take the car in every 4500 for an inspection :-/

In most cases the 4500 interval is for severe conditions only. Make sure the coloumn on the far right in ticked to make sure it actually applies to your vehicle, though.
