Airbag Seat Sensor

Hi guys/galz,

This question is regarding my girlfriends mum's 08 aygo.

It seems one of our lovely jack russells have chewed through the loom under one of the seats, the airbag sensor.

Toyota want £1000 to fix it, £400 for the unit and £600 for the labour.

I cant understand why they woud have to replace the unit if its just a loom thats been chewed????

If anybody could advise etc many thanks in advance!

Try to claim on your vehicle insurance

Unless the airbag has been triggered it should be a case of, disconnect the Battery (important) and match up the coloured wires. They saw her coming
