T-sport Alarm Sensitivity Adjustment

I've just swapped the head unit around in my T-sport and while I had the centre console apart I figured I'd adjust the sensitivity of my alarm, as the interior sensors don't seem to work.

So I whipped out the window switches and had a good look about underneath, and there was nothing there? Whereabouts is the thing, if it's not under there?

Its under the cup holders.

Not sure where this idea came from that once you remove the window switch you can get at the sensor as its still quite far back! (you are not the first to think this!!)

Easiest way is to remove the entire centre console....

1) Remove the gear surround, and remove the 2 phillips screws that attach the top of the centre box to the dash.

2) Remove the 2 phillips screws that are beside the seats (one either side)

3) Remove the metal thing that goes under the handbrake rubber (may be attached by some screws)

4) Open the box, and remove the felt at the bottom, then you will either 1 or 2 10mm bolts. remove then and the box should slide away freely.

The alarm module it attached to the bottom of the centre console. The wire to the sensor is yellow and black, so follow that wire from the gear leaver to the back of the car!

Is it not under the dash on the passanger side? Seems to be where mine is?

Once you locate it, how do you adjust the sensitivity?

I could be wrong, but I think it just has an adjustment screw in it.
