Glove Box Rattle

The glove box rattle is starting to ***** me off. Sometimes when I open it the noise goes away but not always. Has anyone located problem and fixed it by placing a bit of rubber on it?

My first Auris had a problem allegedly with a wiring loom behind either the upper or lower glovebox rattling against it.

May be worth dropping the lower glovebox down, or even the easily removable panel under the lower glovebox and having a look updards with a torch.

you need to remove the striker and get some foam behind it then refit!

my glove box has started to rattle a bit(goes away if i leave it open)does any body know how to remove the strikers, or any other ideas for a fix(tried putting blue tack around various areas, but dosnt help . thanks for any advice

think ive solved the problem, noise seems to have gone(touch wood)

ive put about 4 thin strips of black duck tape on the leading edge of the square hole on each side where the strikers go into on the bottom glove box
