When the Aygo was designed, along with the C1 and 107, to be a cheap euro box, does it appear that whatever country you go to around Europe, that they get different limited editions and, for the different makes of car, different paint jobs too? (I'm liking the silk)

Am I the only one to think that the current UK Aygo paint range is, putting it mildy, disappointing?

Maybe- Mine is Carbon Quartz and today with the sun shining on it, It seemed to be a dark metalic green.

at othertimes it seems dark grey or even almost black.

Sure its not just the lighting?

Of course its the light reflecting of the mica in the paint, but still looks cool sometimes

The paint options are better than they were at launch!

I think they are following the typical British conservatism. Europeans tend to love bright colours and expressionism.

I think the colour range is typical Brit! Red, Silver, Black - the colours that always sell well along with a couple of choice extras - Dark Grey & Blue. I'd love to see a Special Edition White though - White is very "in" right now.

Agree with you on the White one Demonic Angel - would be well cool and would form part of an emerging trend rather than just following one

And how cool was the Aygo Crazy in White!! :D

A little too OTT for my liking, although the principle is fine as I loved the Clio V6!

And whats with the reduced options list on Aygo's too - no leather/alcantera trim available now even as an option?

Luv mine cos when the sun shines (I do say WHEN  ) its got all sparkly bits shining in it B)

Its a bu**er to keep clean though....

Just a little bit of information to answer Pauls question about reduced options. I work at a Toyota dealership in the soutwest our sales team are all going to Seville ( Spain ) in January for the launch of the New 2009 models e.g. New Avensis, IQ, Urban cruiser & they will also be shown the Face lift 2009 Yaris & Aygo because of this additional options will be phased out if they do not fit the upcoming model this would suggest that the seats are going to be different. Toyota have not posted any info as yet regarding what changes are coming & when we will see the Face lifted Aygo , but I will post them as soon as I get them.

In The Nethrlands they've completely dropped the "Sport" due to "lack of demand" a salesman told me...

Thanks for that information Devon Aygo - I was wondering when we would be seeing a new or facelifted Aygo as it has been out a few years now

Another one we don't get in the UK!

Nothing to be sad about IMHO...

I just looked at the pricing for this "special edition", the total OPTION-package for this "Exposed"

will set you back €4900 on top of the cost for the car itself, which starts at €9090 for a 3-drs Basic...

(prices including all sale-taxes applicable in The Netherlands)
