Welcome to the club!

Most common mods seem to be an Induction Kit ;)

Most common fault seems to be problems after fitting an induction kit. A few on here have done it... only to remove it again a little while later.. Kerby is one who I remember.

Adding mods really depends on what you want from the car.. I mean it allready has Eibach Springs/struts as standard.. it has a supercharger as standard.. it has a twin exhaust as standard.. it has a bodykit as standard. Remember.. you are trying to modify a modified T-Sport.. a T-Sport that has allready been modified by TTE.

Having said that there are a few things you can do....

Tom's front strut brace.. replacing the standard brace for what would be no or very little extra bracing.

C-one carbon bonnet

C-one front grille

TRD qick shift

There will be no doubt other "performace" modifications out there.. but I don't think you will see much in the way of performance gains... the only thing that springs to mind to see any possible performance gains would be a piggy back ECU such as the Emanage, or a stand alone replacement ECU... both of which would require to be mapped, you might get an extra 20bhp if your lucky, and this could cost you in the region of £600+ depending what you buy and where you map it.

I don't see the point in modifying a car that has allready been done.. very little gains to be had in performance, of course.. if you are more into appearance mods to make it look more individual.. then its bodykits, lights etc etc.

Caused by the K&N kits over-extending the wires to the MAF Sensor.

A'PEXi (best filtration ;) ) or Blitz (poor filtration :P ) are your two other options as they are positioned much better and do not over exert the wires

welcome!

you could finish off what TTE omitted from tthe upgrade. L/C pistons or thicker headgasket?, F/M intercooler. Oil cooler - may help with excessive crank pressure and blown dipsticks, and a decent standlone running parralel...........

but most important - make it look as good as Ponzer's!

there's already an oil cooler on the compressor. just got mine back after goin in for blowing dipstick problem, they cleaned out all the breather system an car is running better now, a lot more responsive an so far dipstick not blowing out.

F/M intercooler gotta be a defo on these an there is plenty of room behind bumper for one, i've heard of around 35bhp of these

some decent engine mounts could be a good one as there is a lot of engine rock in these

Someone here did F/M setup and he was loosing 20hp :/

If we want to gain something of F/M setup we have to have the Blitz intake so the piping whould be easier.

Im currenctly saving up for the Blitz Supercharger, hope to get it sometime next yr hopefully early next yr. Fensport selling it for £3890 including VAT, EXPENSIVE but very worth it once fitted. I cud get it now but fensport said id hav to wait till next yr till they get deliveries n e way.

Bak to ur question not that many mods really, induction kit really. Monkley Wrenches sell internal parts but they r based from Australia or america.

CKMAN is a legend lol. £3895 do the supercharger and ill love you forever haha. Id love to do it but tbh i havent got £389 let alone and extra figure.

I would be interested in a turbo set up later. For now i dont know tho im going to just try and get it to about 210 bhp with exhaust system, manifold, induction. someone here got 201 from just an induction and a backbox, Ckmans is running about 205 i believe but i reckon it should be slightly more.

Will a turbo actually b cheaper? bcos itll all b custom also the car wud hav to b mapped. The guy at fensport said the Supercharger wudnt need mapping bcos it comes with a control, also i think a supercharger wud b more fun bcos u dnt get turbo lag, i think turbos r probs best for more powerful cars

Xoom spent serious money going turbo - tbh he got a bit of a slating on his own forum for spending so much for the power achieved, the general response was he could have bought a car with that power for the same. me - respect due, he wanted different and was willing to pay for the pleasure. but i think the 2zz is an n/a motor - s/c suits it well if done right but look at the vids of them with t/c............

To much money to part with i reckon. If its a car which is already turboed then why not upgrade but for a car running without one i would consider how long i am going to keep the car for.

Personally i am going to try and achieve as much as i can without forced induction, ill be overwhelmed at getting to 215 bhp without forced induction.

Buying an EVO 6 or similiar would make sense rather than spending crazy money.....however there is nothing wrong with being an individual :)
