Landcruiser 100 Series Turbo Diesel Idle Up Switch

I have a Landcruiser 100 series Turbo Diesel automatic It has a switch for the Idle Up This allows the vehicle idle speed to increase to 1100 rpm but only until the engine is warm then it cuts out If I want to winch and therefore pick up the idle sppeed is there any way to fix this switch that it does what it says all the time Has anyone found a solution such as a plug that needs to be connected or disconnected or any other advice

Andy When you say check the connections on the injector pump what do you mean am I looking for a plug that is out or one that is loose do you know specifically what I am looking for and where to look thanks

Hello Mate

note each fuel injection pump has an idle rpm setting mechanical screw and this one must only be found having refered to the manual.

i do not thinks its a problem.
