Hi,I am new to this club!

I has an Corolla Born on 1981,has an 1.3 4K Carburated Engine!

The problem is now the Starter is Fail to Disengage and making a Loud noise when the Engine was Running,start-up fine but just the noise!

The question is how to remove the Starter for Inpection i see alot of Obtruction including Intake Manifold,Exhaust Manifold and Alternator are on the Way,Blocking access to remove the Motor,so what should i do to remove it?

I think it is the Pinion Jamming or the Torsion Spring was becaming Weak preventing the Pinion back in position when the Engine was Running,Or just the Solenoid Fail, are the Solenoid can be Separate from the Starter motor and replace as a Individual Unit?
