Sat Nav Dvd Player From China

Hi,

I'm new to this forum :)

Has anyone bought one of those Sat Nav DVD players from China/Ebay?

I was thinking of getting one but a friend told me the radio doesn’t work 100%, even with a waveband expander the radio channels will tune in on a completely different frequency than normal.....is there any truth in this?

What brand are you talking about as i have an Eonon from Hong kong. There are many brands out there just saying a country is not good enough. You can order Eonon products through eBay and very cheaply. Are good for standard users and good quality. depending on who installs the equipment.

Not sure of the make (assuming its not a well known brand but has alot of features), its designed for corollas. Fits straight in apparently!!!

Did you have any trouble with your radio fm band?

not sure about that particular brand, but when I was looking for a double-din unit to put in my RAV4, I picked up on a few comments that some of these units are a bit deeper then the norm, so they will not slide in all the way for a flush mounting at the front - worth double checking the depth to make sure

There is often a problem with frequencies on the radios on imported Jap cars, but if the radio is built for European market, should be fine.

Stick up the eBay item number for one of the ones you are interested as it may give people more information when making comments on how good it is or not.

I've bought a few of these systems before and i totally rate them :)

Sound quality is good, features are fantastic and ahead of what you would expect from a headunit in the UK and on top of that the price is fantastic.
