After doing some extensive research i cant find any decent looking bodykits for my prefacelift corolla...... When first purchasing i reallyy wanted a facelift but cud no way have had the funds for it n thts why i got the prefacelift the amount iv spent altogether now i cuda bought a facelift but its done now. As i was sayingg i cant find any kits to my liking so was just finking ov putting on a facelift kit... this means changing the headlights and front bumper from what i can see. Obv the sideskirts and rear bumper too but sarting with the front.

My question was that will the headlights and front bumper fit onto the prefacelift??

Thanks Ahmed.

Also sorry jus add something in here... found a K&N Typhoon induction kit for the corolla t sport at £154.83 inc VAT this is with the polished pipe... don't know whether you'v found any cheaper but i reckon this is a bargain buy... www.europerformance.co.uk

Technically, yes it will fit, but I seem to remember that Gemma looked into this some time ago and the list of parts etc exceeded £500 without the cost of priming/painting the front bumper.

Armz hasn't been around for a long time, but it might be worth sending him a PM so it shows up in his e-mail and ask him about it all. He took his pre-facelift quite far in terms of facelift parts. I know he definitely did the sides and the rear, am I'm sure he would have priced up the front too.

I'd thought about this myself, but as MiniMarc says - the costs are a little extreme - considering to do it properly you would need -

2 x front new shape headlight units

2 x rear new style headlight units (optional)

2 x new shape fog lamps

new shape front bumper

new shape rear bumper

side skirts

+ fitting bolts

+ spraying

Considering what you get extra with a standard facelift -

lower spings and tte shocks (right?)

tte front strut brace

rain sensitive wipers

better looking seats (imo)

new dials

+ new shape

To be honest, i'll probably wait until next summer and trade in for a facelift model. Saying this though, it would be a great project to get your teeth into!

Truee i totally get where your coming from.... iv managed to find some headlamps brand new £45 each plus £10 for delivery im sure the guy will do them both for £100 delivered and a front bumper on eBay also for around £60 but the small lip on the front missing wich ill try get from toyota so looking at the front the bumpers already black and so is my car but will still get it sprayed to mint as its got marks on it so i rekonn £200 for the front including headlamps bumper and the lip without spraying..... u reckon thats worth it??

if u wanna get a facelift bumper, i think the best way is to actually fill the Droop on the bumper so itll b flush with the pre-facelift lights. If i remember G6-r from this forum his friend did it to his pre-facelift corolla. Im sure this way itll b cheaper than purchasing some facelift lights Also i can pretty garuntee not many ppl if n e in the UK hav done it bfor so ul b a one off :)

O yeh, if ur planning to get the facelift rear bumper and the bumper doesnt come with the corner skirts, i hav the pair in the shed i u wanna buy them.

each to there own but i prefer the pre face lift look myself, they look more aggressive with the big grille and look like they mean business and sportier, imo anyway, i'd chuck my money into it somewhere else if it was me. and with the kits, less is more. most cars have been stripped of here kits to give a more euro look. id rather strip and smooth.but thats just me, everyone is different.

I like the euro look alot its smooth n subtle, but there isnt anything to keep the prefacelift subtle i you look at the kits they are like tooo much like over the top n i really dont like it but after dropping the car a smooth kit wud give it a much better look.

Ckman85 did you see the job that was done? like did it look good?

alsoo the corner skirts you'v got will they fit onto my frefacelift bumper?

No, i only saw photos, if u contact G6-r from this forum hopefully he can send u some pics.

As for the skirts ummm i dnt think it fits onto the pre-facelift bumper, but their mite b a way of fitting it on, their r always rear bumpers around on eBay

I think it would be a bit of an expensive conversion, i wouuld do the side skirts and rear bumper, i would get the debadged grill at the front with a tte lip however.

right click and open in new window and youll be able to see the link

I absolutely loved what that guy did to his car. Unfortunately he sold it shortly afterwards. :( One of the most striking, yet subtle mods he did was removing the bump strips from the side of the car. Gives it all a much cleaner and smoother body line. Gorgeous!

Kwl kwl, from the photos that u saw, what did you think?

yeh it didnt look bad actually, if u didnt know n e thing bout cars, u wudnt hav a clue wot the difference was, but if u know ul DEF think thats a nice one off mod.

I was looking into doing that but if you remove them is it self adhesive behind there or do you have to fill something and respray. I dont know whether i want to do it tho i like the lines of the car at the same time. Its one of them modifications you want to see in the flesh to decide.

They are glued on, so it is a matter of warming them up pulling them off and cleaning and polishing it to remove any traces of glue :)

I keep thinking about it too, but I have a 5 door, so not sure how it would look. Certainly with 3 doors it looks brilliant (and best of all it's free :D )

Yes not a problem :)

Much appreciated, thanks. I didn't want to offend you, but it is tough sometimes trying to understand "txt speak", and we also have non native english speaking visitors too, who will be completely lost. :)
