Electrics & Fuse

<newbie posting> please bear with me

I have bought a new Dome Fuse for my Toyota Avensis Verso Estate. Its a really big brown one, I think 60A

The spare part bag calls it the "fusible link"

The guy in the Toyota garage said that the fuse is secured underside with a locking pin - so this must be taken out before the fuse can be changed

I have unscrewed two bolts to literally take the fuse box off - but that has not got me any further forward

Any advice would be much appreciated :P

a dome fuse wont be 60A. they are usually 30A at the most and the usual 'pull out' type.

if you look at the fuse you need changing there maybe 2 very small bolts you need to remove from the side of it. with these out the fuse should just pull out.

Mart.
