New (old) Yaris

Hi all. This is my first post...........

My wife has just taken ownership of her mum's Yaris (1.0 T3)

Its a 2003 model but has had very little use, only being driven once a week to the shops. It has only got 4050 miles on the clock, (Yes 4050!) though it has had all its services carried out annually. It has a factory sunroof and rear parking sensors fitted.

Our problem is that the washer pump doesnt work front or rear. The wipers do work correctly but theres no sound from the washer motor.

Is the pump on the same fuse as the wipers? If so and the pump is faulty is it much of a job to replace it?

The car will be surplus to our needs in about three months time, what would be a fair price to ask for it with such low mileage and in almost new condition?

i think on these older Yaris the same pump works front&rear washers.

its most likely failed/siezed and will require new.

always worth checking the fuse first though.

mart.
