Hi,

I just fitted new brake pads(Mintex) to my and seemed to have a braking problem;as it does not stop the car immediately. Should I fit a different brand?

The other issue is that my front passenger wheel is also making a noise when I brake, fitted new discs.........any ideas

You should give the brake pads approx. 50 miles to "bed - in" before you get full brake efficiency back, especially if you have fitted new disks at the same time.

Did you CopperSlip the backs of the pads and contact points on the caliper carrier when you fitted them - if not - it could explain your noise.

are the disc's you have grooved? as grooved disc's have an 'aggressive' way round and this can make noise and cause vibrations.
