Can't really decide my self.. I know it is called Corolla, but allmost all of the major parts are the same as the Auris..

But one things is that I REALLY miss my old Corolla T-Sport..

I need lift :(

There is no such thing as an "Auris" it's just a re-badged Corolla ;)

Car looks good tho, we don't get a saloon version of the "Auris" over here.

But why on earth get rid of your T Sport? Are you mad?

Can't wait for my next fix of Lift

Yeah life was a lot funner then... But had to obey the wife.... And it was a bit heavy on the fuel and insurance....

We've got really hard taxation on cars here in Denmark.. 180% + 25% vat on a car.. Which means a Auris 1,6 Luna ( mid-trim aircon) costs ca. 25.000£ here.

My T-Sport was a 2003 and sold it to the dealer for 20.000£

And im not kidding....

Why didn't you just get rid of the wife? :lol2:

Most people think that getting married to a woman is one of the most expensive events in a man's life...... Divorcing a woman by far exceeds that :(

Problem is that before the taxation is put on the car when it gets its danish numberplates...

Funny thing is that the base price, before taxation makes the cars which go into DK, are europes lowest.. At one point it was big business in Denmark was to reexporte the cars with a markup...

Why didn't you just get rid of the wife? :lol2:

Should have thought of that :D

I really like my new Rolla.. But I just miss the POWER so MUCH!!!

Nice looking Auris/Corolla. Saloon doesn't look bad but doubt it would catch on over here in the UK.

Your T-Sport looks good but shame it's gone.

Until Toyota produce a petrol performance Auris I don't think I'm interested.

That is a very smart, grown-up looking motor your E15. Very nice indeed!

When I grow up I will get one...till then I will keep the t-sport and the lift!

Well...until my wife tells me otherwise hehe...

Gentlemen! Please! Wives aren't all bad....but your posts did make me giggle!! :lol2:

Back to cars though...the new 'Corolla', or whatever it is, does look nice. BUT, I'm a bit nervy of newer cars these days after a bad experience. I have often heard people comment that they prefer older versions of models. They may lack the fashionable shape of the newer cars, but tend to have less electrical bits to go wrong... The engine is the most important aspect of a car for me, not the 6 CD multichanger or seat warmer etc etc. I hope the new corolla lives up to expectations and continues to add to the reliable name of Toyota.
