Can't really decide my self.. I know it is called Corolla, but allmost all of the major parts are the same as the Auris..

But one things is that I REALLY miss my old Corolla T-Sport..

I need lift :(

Hi and yes its a corolla. Here in Australia both hatch and sedan are corollas. The hatch is an Auris except in AUS and NZ cos Toyota Aus fought to keep the Corolla name due to popularity and not to lose sales because people dont like change, and people see reliability in corolla. Here they all have the same motor, 2ZRFE 1.8 100kw

I am also a Corolla E-15 owner. Corolla really kickz azz compared to Auris. It is built in Japan and the whole interior is of superior quality

Actually, Corolla E-15 is shipped only to countries of traditionally loyal sedan addicts (e.g. Greece, Spain, Finland, former east-block countries etc). Its technology is the same with Auris and, thus, this post belongs here!

Yiasou! Unfortunately, Turkey is closer to Europe than Japan and thus... (the same holds for UK where Avensis is being built)

Looks allmost as good as mine :P

Lets warm things a little bit after your cool experience ;)

This is an 1.6 SOL model with TRC/VSC.

If everybody's completely honest tho, there is no such thing as an "Auris" it's just a Corolla with the wrong Badge! :P

It's interesting to see that the Auris / Corolla Saloon doesn't have the "Flying Butress" centre console, but a much more traditional offering.

The front does resemble a Corolla, rather than an Auris. In fact there seems little in common with the Auris from the exterior. Interior a lot better.

Looks good. The rear reminds me of another make-Beemer 3 series ? or Jetta?

Pity it is not available in the U.K.

Perhaps its a Auris/C or then again a Corolla/A

Actually, imho, its biggest success is that it (somehow) resembles the Lexus IS at its front and rear parts

 So true! Mind you, being a Corolla snob I don't think I want the Auris to be a Corolla given the poor quality of the Auris interior. After all, we Corolla owners have a quality reputation to maintain ;)

I think the external styling is very smart indeed and certainly doesn't let down its Corolla heritage. However, such a pity it has the cheap Auris interior. Yes, it is good that the hideous slab of cheap tacky plastic has gone from the middle but it still isn't a patch on the quality look and feel of the E12 Corolla. Big shame really but it follows the current downward trend of most Toyotas re interior plastics. Shockingly, I was in one of the new Lexus 4x4 hybrids the other day and the plastics (including the almost Orange colour 'wood' effect) were just as cheap and awful looking so it seems to be a sourcing policy across everything owned by Toyota. A great pity.

Actually this is not true. Even though they share many parts, Corolla is built in Japan and the quality of its interior plastics cannot be compared to the ones of Auris. The upper part of the console is made of soft plastic and, generally, everything seems much more solid. The same for the plastics of the doors.

Just read any review of the new Corolla E-15 (if any in English) to confirm...
