My wife has a medical problem which makes it difficult getting in and out of my 4-3. Fitting side steps both sides is quite an expensive option, I think, any one got any alternative options. Currently using some portable step, which is one hell of a nuisance.

can't see an really good option other then proper steps, John.

some Caravans have folding steps that go under the door, but probably would muck up the ground clearance as they don't look like they would fold up 'tightly' enough - and you would still need to get the fixings in the right place AND pull them in and out so not a lot from what you are currently using.

if it is the room the step is taking up in the boot whic is the problem ....
