I went to MR T today because i had a humming noise from the left hand side of my car , also i mentioned that the mpg counter was showing i was doing 76mpg? i also mentioned the squaky dash , the technician went with me on a test drive , murphys law the humming noise didnt happen ! but he said to leave the car with him next friday so they can keep overnight and check the injectors on saturday morning when the engine is cold , also they said they would check the clutch too , i was impressed with there concern even thoo they didnt hear any noise , my car had 48k on it and is 2.2 2006 t3x , on way home the humming came back!!!!! and i also noticed when using 1st ,, 2nd , 3rd gear there was a clunking or knocking noise when i released my foot from the pedal , and the clutch is squeaky(it always has been) anyone have any ideas whats wrong with it????? the more facts or educated guesses im armed with for next friday the better , ive read the pevious posts and know the problems with the fly wheel etc , and when i asked the technician he said he had changed more than a few clutches on these models , i didnt tell him about the knocking only spotted it today, any info or ideas most wlcome

cheers in advance ,jay
