Speedo Prob

Hi just bought a st202 1994 import its been converted to mph but it was doing this before then.

When i turn the ignition the speedo goes up to 10mph and doesnt rest at 0 can anybody help

the quickest way to zero the gauge is to pull the needle off the face and put it back on pointing at zero. I had a similar problem, except that my speedo would float at 60 like it was zero. I couldn't get my safety with the gauge like that, so rather than follow Toyota's advice and get a new gauge console, I just did this and saved a lot of bucks.
