Well, when i bought the car it came with a k&n panel filter, but i then replaced it with a c-one panel filter which i bought from an member on here. As there litteraly like a 2 second job to change over i thort it be good to compare them on the rolling road - K&n came out top! pulled top 193.1 with c-one and all over 195 with k&n! Rolling road tester then demostrated the difference between the filters air flow by using the air line on them - i was amazed at the difference, the c-one hardly let any air through but the k&n nearly blew me hand away!

I expressed my concern to the bloke about oil contamination to the air flow meter and he said you should periodically clean the air flow meter any way wiv a bit carb cleaner, then you shouldnt geta problem. So the k&ns been left in for now, highly recommend it as a panel filter, still pondering on induction kit due to the tempting 201bhp other owners have pulled with one. Carnt wait to see the results of the group rolling road!!

Just a quick note aswell, iv removed the standard air feed to the airbox and replaced it with a 90dgree samco hose

i'm thinking of an induction kit (probably APEXI< but the K&N one looks good with the induction pipe aswell????????) with a cold air feed hose and maybe a custom heat sink over the top!

and also the TTE back box!

is the above something you've heard of giving around 201bhp?

Yes that's the TTE one that you have to get through Toyota Dealers - I have the same one on my car. Have you contacted Parts-King as he does a discount for TOC members on everything you order, which is nice. :)

akatheking - your car is looking sweet.

That front bumper n grill look great together, don't see many green CTS's, pretty rare!

Cant wait to fit my front bumper now!
