I have had my 06 T180 3 days and looks like its going back to the garage. Driving back from a bit of shopping today,got 3 warnings, Check 4 WD, Check Engine, Check VSC.

Not a happy bunny tonight, have I got a lemon? Not a good start to RAV 4 motoring, anybody had these 3 warnings at the same time? Hanvng done about 90 miles since getting the car could it be a plug that has come loose that a mechanic has not fitted correctly? Dont really want to drive the car

Did you get the PDI form from the garage saying everything had been checked and working.... don't except any fob off from the dealer..they should get you up and running in good time....

The ECU should have stored any error codes as listed above to say why/what may have happened....

Did you get the PDI form from the garage saying everything had been checked and working.... don't except any fob off from the dealer..they should get you up and running in good time....

Yes got the PDI saying everything was checked, car was fully serviced etc. There was no signs something was wrong, strange all 3 warnings came on together.

Yes along with everything else that goes wrong in T180's i've had this problem as well, turned out to be a blocked pipe in the CAT. My local garage replaced the CAT under warranty, apparently this is a common problem and as a result there is a modification to the replacement. There should be a fault code recorded if this is the case

Off roadster, I've just noticed that you are just 15 miles up the road from me at Elgin, I am assuming that you will have bought your car from Alexander Wallace. I've found the workshop manager to be excellent when it comes to warranty work ....definately much better than Arnold Clark,

The newer Rav will sometimes illuminate afew lights at the same time. There may only be one code stored or the ECU detected a signal that was just out of spec. With the way the system works/communicates alot of the systems are related.

Nice one stuck in dubs, got the car checked today at Alexander Wallace, fault code came up with blocked pipe in the Cat.!! Excellent service there. Advised car is ok to drive but fuel consumption may take a hit. Cat going to be replaced under warranty. Put my faith back in what is a great car. I will keep you in mind if I get any further problems. ( hope not !!)
