Hi, From Wales, That Wet Country

Hi, I've recently got into buying a Toyota Carina E when my Honda Civic finally packed up and I spannered it into bits (Most of it still on my drive)

The Carina is the 1.6 16v version and I know absolutely NOTHING about what I'm getting except it's got 5 doors, an engine (a handy add-on when buying a car), a very big boot (Ideal if I get into the kidnapping business) and an engine bay that could do with a clean and that it needs tax.

Hence the reason it's still on someone else's drive 200 miles away....

So, like I tried to do when I brought the Honda, I've decided to come here, the forum of Toyota Owners in the UK. Except Honda never had one....

I'm from North Wales, Caernarfon more specifically, and this will only be my second car ever.

I chose the Carina because it's a low insurance group, VERY tidy for its age and a Toyota, a name I've always been told will never let you down. If I squint and it's really dark it also looks like a Celica :D
