Performance Chip

I am just reading thoro some of the posts on here and I want to know about a performance chip, I want one but don't know what it really is and how do they differ, I tried to google it but I found some but no info, then i found this

is this too cheap? and if i want to buy one what do I need?

Seems to be a lot of cheap unproven ones going around e-bay, who knows wether they are a waste of money or not.

The popular one on here is from Parts_King (Kingo) and if you have read through the posts you will see that those who

have fitted it are happy with it. Might be a good idea to update your profile to show the year of your Rav, and wether

its diesel or petrol. Then others can comment

I recall a lot of the cheap ones that appear on eBay work by telling the ECU the engine is still cold or something like that and makes it pump more fuel.

I personally would not touch a device costing £30 from eBay in a car I invested so much money in with the potential consequences it could cause.

I also have some runners? steps? not really sure what they are called to add and I want a nice chrome grille.

don't know how to but the step things on either, but I should have them on wednesday hopefully

I work on the principle that a product is only as good as the spelling and grammar of the person selling it. On that basis I wouldn't touch this one with a barge-pole!
