currently got 215/40/17 on my auris, but even got the car lowered 30mm my arches still look massive!

whats a good tyre size for 17s and has a comfy ride.

also....

which size will not affect my speedo

Hi, I have 215/45/17 and lowered 35mm. Still a comfortable ride and speedo OK..

I've got lowered car and 225/40 18 - still got some spaces in archec - from tire to the wing - 35 mm in front and 45 mm in the rear - plan to reduce it by installing the coilovers.
