Almost A Corolla Owner...

Well I guess I'm the new girl...but I'm also a bit of a fraud at present as I do not own a toyota or even a car!! I've just sold my Renault Megane, after a year of infinite electrical problems :censor: which have been driving me crazy!! Due to the, eh hem, [insert expletive of choice] awful time I have had with the reliability of the Megane I have been on the hunt for a more reliable car....

....then one day the angels sang "Toyota" and I decided that this might be a sign! The corolla seems to be my ideal next model of choice, and after viewing the impressive members cars on this site, I think it may even be love at first sight :in_love: I'm no fool though, and need to know more before I buy. The drive is so important to me. I LOVE driving, and so the other bits and pieces that come with a car aren't so important. A friend of mine said she judged a good car by the cup holder.... ....but actually, I find a cup holder to be a little pointless when I'm accelerating, as I tend to spill the drink anyway!!

Seriously though, if there are any tips of what to look out for in the Corolla, and any details about people's favoured models, then I'd love to hear what there is to say!!

And by the way, HELLO!

:band:

I can't offer any advice on the corolla but totota do tend to be reliable, I have a hilux surf which is perfect for me as I need easy comfortable driving with the added bonus of space, it's a 3.0 TD automatic & the only thing I can compare it with is an armchair on wheels, it is so easy to drive & comfortable too.

I'm sure other corolla drivers will put your mind at rest.

Welcome to the club!

Good choice of car, which particular version you thinking about?

If you love driving then the T Sport would have to be the obvious choice

You need to get something for that cough Vince ;)

As soon as I sell the car, I'll get a big bottle of Benylin. :P
