Was I wrong to expect a bit more of a facelift? lol

The front looks slightly more aggressive which I like, although I'm not keen on the new rear light cluster, although maybe it is the angle of the photo but the chrome surrounds just look tacky and the interior doesn't look like it's changed much at all (unless the rev counter is as standard now?)

But to be honest you can't improve perfection anyway  :D

So, it's now got a chav-kev-barry/boy bumper and tail lights?

Looks pap.

Demonic Angel had it right - perfection :toast:

Looks ok to me, not sure about the rear lights but need a direct photo from behind to give a proper opinion

As for the rev counter, isnt it standard on the aygo blue and slate blue? would be stupid not to make it standard on the new aygo

Looking forward to more pics!

At this rate I'll wait till I see the IQ in the flesh before I get rid of the Galant.

Not standard on the blue, had to buy a puggy one and fit it myself

that sucks SooZ, took Toyota long enough to include it from standard then...

They seem to have done the equivalent of sticking Karl Maldens nose on George Clooneys face :(

Not that I find Clooney attractive of course, my wife told me he was. Cough.

Mind you at least it will no longer look like the Honda Jazz so much, everytime I see a Jazz I think it's another Aygo. It's only when I spot the flat cap and blue rinse of the occupants that I realise differently.

Regards

Andy

Original front bumper with spats looks far nicer.

This one purely ....how should I put it... sux.

Looks like they have pinched the front bumper off of a Polo. Have to say it does make the car look a little butcher but it also spils the overall lines of the front end!

I wonder if the other 2 of the triplets are having facelifts too and if there's are going to be more appealing?

IMHO,The other two of the triplets look even worse.

Refz can you post a front shot of the other two to show them.

Agree with that!

Still undecided on the Aygo i'm afraid, i understand the benefits of having one but looks wise there is something distinctly lacking.

Aygo Crazy was a step in the right direction ;)

There's no reason why older Aygos cant have the facelift. Its quite superficial and i expect the new bumper & lights use the same mounts. I might change the rear lights, but i dont want the front to look like a mini Auris

I like the back lights thats about it

I don't have any other pictures at the moment.

I think I quite like it... growing on me. I especially like the colour keyed door protectors, which I assume are new? If so they're long overdue. I personally think the current black ones are far too big and totally ruin the look, and lines, of the car. I'm guessing the optional fog lamps would occupy the small spaces of grill bottom left/right, which would also, in my opinion, look nicer than the current 'bolted on afterthought' style ones.

We are talking about the Aygo instead of the new 107-C1...

Thanks Jan,

I asked the question because PaulWorthing was curious as original you showed in my post.

Well it was due a facelift to keep it fresh, but why take it to Halfords? Value of my sport just went up :D

Thanks for finding those - well what can I say!

The Aygo now looks like it has got the front spoiler of a Polo (and it does not suit)

The 107 looks like it has tried to swallow something (or copy the wide mouth frog look of the 407)

and the C1 looks like it is trying to copy the Audi corporate front end

To be honest, with the exception of the bug-eyed headlights, I think that the C1 is now the best looking one of the bnuch - well from the front end anyway!

I just vomited in my mouth and swallowed the puke upon glancing at what peugeot and citroen have designed.

Thought the idea of a facelift was to make you want the new one, this facelift seems to make current owners want to hold on to their old one.

IMHO think the Aygo got off lightly compared to the C1 and 107 (I thought the C1 was the best looking originally, but now :( ), latest rear lights on the Aygo though I think look a bit naff.

I don't mind the new front on the Aygo... but I certainly don't think it's any better. I'm not too keen on the new rear cluster though, and the 107 and C1 are both plain fugly!!

Having just ordered my Aygo yesterday I'm glad I'm getting in before these new models are released!
