Clutch Pedal Noise

Hi all, just called in my local toyota dealership and mentioned that i had a slight noise coming from the travel at the the top of my clutch pedal, the car was only serviced a few days ago "its first" and the noise was not there before the service, well good old dealership has booked it in for thursday and some part has been ordered ready to fit, i got the feeling that this is not a new problem to the toyota avensis T108 estate as no questions was asked at the desk just book in to be repaired.

Has anyone else had this problem ?

It is a distint scraping noise as if the pedal is catching on the footwell carpet at the top of its travel or a sqeaky spring noise "hard to explain excactly" the noise cleared after 20/30 miles of driving.

Any input welcomed.

Well car went in today new master cylinder fitted and noise gone took just an hour to get motor back
