Hot Hatch Runs!

Right an entertaining day today for myself! Had a few runs with some cars, to list!

Ford Focus ST (Stock)

Modified Civic Type R (Cat Back Exhaust & Induction)

Standard Civic Type R

I was running with quater tank on shells best! Spare Tyre Removed, 17 alloys (Light Weight) One Passenger

Focus ST was standard in arctic White.

Off the mark traction control off i was neck with him, came to a slight bend 2nd gear lift still with him flat out to 70mph i stayed with him and suprisingly the focus had the upper hand of having a straight!

He left the circuit(lol) there after no results on what happened if we had continued but driver looked angry!

You can stay with an ST Without traction in the dry until 70....

I did and i know i did (Cannot comment on the other drivers ability however which may have let him down but for all i know it was very very close)

Now the modified Type r, Very very shouty off the mark i pulled ahead he hit vtec and was right next to me, into 2nd he was still pulling and i hit lift so kept up straight into third he looked as tho it was going to pull away and he did slightly, the front of my car was near his indicator so very tight after that gradually his top end was stronger and aslong as the circuit went he managed to get infront but my front was parralel to his boot at top speeds. (Not to sure if his mods were slowing the car down but the exhaust was giving off a very deep blur!

Next the standard civic, left the car in lift in all gears around every bend, I started off behind but couldnt pull up next to him as the circuit was tight and could only accomodate one car to a lane. The civic did not pull away at all i had traction off and stayed right behind it, Personally i would love to run with a stock type r with traction off and maybe even removing my subwoofer from the boot!

I would again say we will pop in front from take off but the type rs will catch up and edge ahead, I found it extremely close tho and tbh my friend was a CTR owner with me and he said when the type r was shifting my lift was late enough to pull me on par with the type r from what he could see. He also said being a CTR Owner its neck theres nothing between the two.

My car has been lowered btw! and i am running lighter wheels than stock.

Very very proud of my CTS today, cant wait to do a few little tweeks with the engine.
