exon16m - I'd like to know who you are insured with as virtually no insurance companies would insure a Corolla TS for anyone under 21 - especially for £1K??? I mean look at turbo willy's post - he's older than you? I recon your car must be insured under your grandma's name with you as a named driver

I had a 1.8 alfa 156 and traded in for a Tsport 3 door two weeks ago. My insurance for the alfa was £480 and to change to the Tsport I had to pay another £42 for the remaining 6 months.

I have 8 years no claims, 28 years old, married, home owner, non-smoker and still being ripped off!

SA long as you have photo's or recipets of mod's they're happy (unless engine has been made bigger), they don't care about points unless you've been banned, they're superb :D

I had 4 months left on my Endsleigh insurance on a Peugeot 106 1.1xn and they wanted and extra £200 to upgrade to my new Yaris T-Sport just for the remaining period (an £50 a month ontop of my £41 Pug insurance ) But Tesco quoted me £590 for a whole year with 4 yrs no claims. So after a bit of negotiating with Endsleigh I got them to bring the £200 down to £150

So I have to bite the bullet and pay the extra £150 for the next few just to get the 4 full years.
