Question About Garage/service Center In Leeds

Hi all,

I just bought a corolla 1.4 VVTi 2001 hatchback.

It seems it is all OK, but I just want to have it tested/diagnosed.

Could anyone suggest a place to test/diagnose it. It must be in Leeds or nearby - not more that 20 miles away. Something with reasonable prices as well ;)

BUt anyway, last place i went to with my old Yaris was Well Lane Turbo Centre in Batley.

Have the diagnostic stuff to read Toyota's and were cheaper at the time than Mr T

I just want to make sure everything is OK.

I am concerned about one thing only. It accelerates a bit slowly.

Now, I know it is 1.4 VVTi 16v and it might not be that fast, but still, I just dot know what to expect.

I have driven it for 50 miles. Didnt have the chance to drive it on the motorway, but it seems to me that I wasnt able to make more that 55-60 mph with pedal to the metal and in 5th gear. I think it should be a bit more responsive.

Thats why I want to have it diagnosed. Any more suggestions will be appreciated.

When was it last serviced?

Check the air filter's not clogged up etc

You could ask the question in the Corolla section as i'm sure other 1.4 owners will be able to give you some pointers
