Need Some Help!

Hi everyone, been having some condensation problems with my corolla E12 lately and have tried everything except changing the pollen filter which I was told to try. So I have it now but can anyone tell me where about the pollen filter is located? First time I have done this so a little help would be great.

The car in your avatar is a AE111 Corolla so if memory serves correct:-

Pollen filter is located underneath dashboard (and below glove box) on passenger side (RHD drive cars!).

Retaining it in is a strip of plastic held in place by 4 rubber 'press in clips' (and they are always tight - but don't worry you will not break them).

Also I suggest you place a sheet of newspaper on the passenger side footwell or have a vacumn at the ready as the amount of debris that comes out with the filter is sometimes shocking!

Pollen filter part number from TOYOTA is (or used to be!) 88508-12010 but please check.

If you buy a genuine Toyota filter it comes with instructions.

Oh :o and cost from Mr T approx £25.

Hi thanks for the advice, will give it a go this weekend. Yes I have both a corolla E11 & E12 T3 (my eco car). Already bought the filter from eBay at £17 so bargain compared to the dealers.
