Rear Bumper Protection

purchasing a avensis t4 from a toyota dealer just wondering if there was a rear bumper protection strip which can be fitted to the car as we own dogs which are in and out the back of the car & the kids pushchairs and bikes. we had one fitted to our mitsubishi spacewagon for around £70 which we found was a god send as the bumper doesn't have a mark on it after 4-5 years of abuse.can't seem to find one for a avensis estate any ideas many thanks in advance.

Hi scotchglen, toyota do a rubber protection strip which you can fit yourself just need to clean all the polish etc off the top of the rear bumper it's fitted with double sided tape but you only get one chance so make sure it's in the right position,

part number TPZ415-T5520-00 (BOOT PROTECTION) cost me £48.96 inc vat it's a lot of dough for a rubber strip but it does do the job and it looks quite smart, I fitted it to my T3x estate to stop my tool boxes damaging the paintwork,
