hi friends.

i just change the oil 5w-30 to 5w-50 Mobil 1 its better then other likw 5w 40 full snyt.?

Yep it will be fine and yes Mobil 1 is one of the best.

Personally grades such as 5w 40 or 10w 40 or 5w 50 (would not advise 5w 30) will be perfectly fine. Also semi-synthetic will be perfect - but use fully synthetic if you wish (as what Mobil 1 is).

As a side note (despite what service shedule states ) I would recomend you change your oil at least every 6,000 mile or approx 6 months (which ever is sooner!).

That's the recommended oil for the T Sport as per Toyota! ;)

5w 30 in my opinion is just not a 'broad enough' grade for modern driving

I fully accept that Toyota know more than humble me and have done full research tests etc, etc,

But never forget the slight oil consumption issues with some of the modern Corollas ;)

All 3 Toyota dealers closest to me all said to use 10w40 Semi in the tsport, they felt that 5w30 was too thin.. anyways you can use most grades if you look at the handbook

I used 10w40 Millers Semi last time, but ive just bought 10w40 Semi genuine Toyota oil.

i just braking my engine with 5w-30 oil in 7500 km.know i put 5w 50 Mobil 1.so every one said 5w-50 will be the best oil CTS :)

the idiots guide to oil is basically the first number is how viscous the oil is when its cold. so 0 is very very runny. 10 is not as runny, 15 is like treacle.

the second number is how viscous the oil is when its hot, so 50 is thicker than 40 and 30.
