Im just about to buy a celica vvti, prob somethin like an 02 model, anyone got any advice about what to look out for or avoid?

Have a search in the Celica/Avensis area for Oil Consumption, the 1.8 VVTI has a quite major issue with this. I beleive the 02 Model Year is affected.

Hello mate, yea that was helpfull, seems like quite a few people have that problem but then some dont, might be worth seein if i can stretch to the vvtli?
