Owners Manual & Remote Fobs

;) Hi all,

As a new onwer of a W reg Avensis i have a few question to ask.

Can anyone tell me where i might get a owners maual for said Avensis? Also is it possible to but third party or after sales remote key fobs as one of the keys has a none working unlock botton, the lock button works fine. Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

eBay probably is the best for both of them. Plenty of key fobs come up every so often on there, it might be worth trying to take the faulty one apart as sometimes the button slips from under the rubber on the early type key fob and just needs repositioning.

I've figured this out - and for anyone else who may have a similar problem with Toyota Avensis's or possibly toyota's with the Central locking on the key fob, here's how to programme the c/l on the keyfob to work and lock/unlock the car:

keys out of the barrel

open drivers door (leave open)

insert fault key and turn 'on' (dont start the engine)

wait 10 seconds

then press the 'unlock' button twice

you should hear the doors try to unlock/lock

and that should do the trick. worked for me first time.
