Hi,

You must love the GTI-16 to have 4! Are they all in good working condition and road legal or are you slowly fixing them up.

I'm fixing mine up now. Have stripped out the whole interior and are now looking to buy new carpets in red. While I'm saving up for this, I'll be sorting out the body-work, there's a small patch of rust on every panel but this is easily sorted.

Could you please tell me how to get the headlamps out as well as the side lights because I have some xenon bulbs that need fitting but I can't find out how to take them off.

Cheers,

KPARRIS-JONES

For AE/EE 90 and AE92 GTi -

Side lights are held in by screw on the side lower corner and on screw from above (when opening bonnet) fixed to actual headlight assembly.

Head light is held in by 10mm bolts from above - however ...

... to change just bulbs nothing needs to be removed other than bulb holder from rear - look behind and you'll see it.

:)

Hello, yeah i do love them lol, they all in pretty much good working condition, no major jobs on them are needed, Look on my other topic where i have put the pics on,

and i think that your question has been answered by Twincam Gti about how to remove the headlights but its simple anyway,
