Wheel Nuts For Spare

My T3 D-4D is fitted with original MrT alloys. The spare however is a standard steel wheel.

Should I suffer a flat will the nuts used on the alloys be suitable for the steel wheel or should I be looking at getting different nuts/bolt for the spare?
