The vast majority of Corolla owners are OAP's who bought them as they hardly ever go wrong.

Toyota ditched the Corolla name for Auris to try and attract younger people to buy them.

FAIL!!

Never heard it referred to as a girls car tho

i like the auris name but i dont like the look of the car. i think if they stuck to the corolla and just modified the boxey look a little bit it would def be a car to look out for!

auris is tooooo i dont know pointy for my liking lol if that makes sense

It is known to be a grandads oaps car because again of reliability. A very good selling car. Just tell everyone at work, the corolla is one of the worlds most reliable and best selling cars!

i had a t3 aswell and i loved it, comfortable and great compact car. It wasnt slow either for the engine size and economy a great car combined with comfort, safety and reliability. My t3 used to get abused hard in all honesty and it never once gave me a problem.

well i guess the unwanted attention is good. cos i dont get any!

apart from the vw's i dragged and romped them for breakfast and dinner lol

but i guess if the car is on stock parts etc it will be viewed like that.

From what I've seen, most of them have a 20mph limiter on their cars anyway :(

Best description I read for the cts was in a top gear mag. It said "its the sensible man's hot hatch,". Said by no means the best but its saving grace will it will probably last forever.

I couldnt care less if an old man's car, i was born middle aged!!!! :D

My wife is a granny, drives our Corolla and thinks speed limits are a target!

Sometimes think passion for performance on our clogged/ speed camera ridden roads is more to do with ego.

Which are the most arrogant drivers. Beemers 3 series, Range Rovers, or tiny minds in a so called performance cars?

It was not like that in my day!!!!!!!!!!!

being a new CTS owner im literally loving the undertsated grannability of the car, no one knows what it is or what its capabilities are, not to mention the plods dont looks twice which is always a bonus.

im not a boy race or chav or any sort and i like having a capable car that isnt associated with either typeset in any way shape or for (ie corsa/civic/fiesta)

my car was owned by an old boy before me and im reaping the benefits, low mileage, tight gearbox, great condition and regular servicing all documented. bargain and a brilliant car. long live 1 owner OAP wagons! :D

ps, i love my LIFT.

No problems, Mate. No offence was taken  Note use of smilies  I think the phrase used in General Discussions was "Wrinkly old fart". It was only good natured banter & I can give as good as I get  So, no worries :D
