could it be your cat-pipe ?

When you are stop and rev to 3.000 rpm do you hear it ?

can you feel any vibrations through either the gear stick or clutch pedal? i had a similar issue on my previous car which turned out to be the clutch splitting in two ( it was driven spiritedly and had done 120k on the clutch)

hi,its just when you pull off but think it was me not givin it enough gas!pull off at 1,300 rpm and it was fine this morning, must of been the engine/exhaust under load with not enough revs.no rattles when reved,so think it was me,but sounded like the springs on the manifold.

if its what i think it is it will get a lot worse .i had this on my compressor and it was a valve or plate in the exhaust front pipe that comes loose and vibrates on excelleration and deceleration if under warraty take it back will prob need a front pipe.

hi,it only does it if you don't give it enough revs it is ok on accelleration and decelleration.,just when u pull away and it's not the clutch. could be a heat shield as i have just had a new custom exhaust fitted.been under the car today and bent some out of the way but they wer'nt touching so will have to see, cars only done16,000 miles.thanks

well had the car on the lift at work today defo not the exhaust front pipe or heat shields, sounds like its around the air filter area or the engine cover its defo not a metalic sound and won't do it all the time.may change the exhaust springs as well cause there a common prob.
