Washer Jets On Celica St202 Not Working

Help!!

I need some advice, the front washer jets on my car aren't working for some reason ( i only bought it the other day).

I have lifted the bonnet, and removed the pipe that feeds the jets to see if water is coming up through the pipe at the top of the drivers front wing. And it isn't.

The washer pump is working as when you press the rear washer jet it happily sprays the back windscreen.

Does anyone know what the likely cause could be?

And how to fix it?

Thanks!

James

there may well be 2 separate pumps on the celica. if you take off the under engine cover and maybe also the inner wing liner on the side the washer bottle is on , you should find 2 pumps , swap the pumps or swap the pipes over , if you do swap the pipes the rear wash becomes the front on the stalk . etc .
