The filter is located behind the glove box. Open the glove box and remove the Phillips screw on the damper arm and slide off the arm. Push in each side of the inner sides of the box to disconnect the claws and when the box drops you can see the filter cover. Remove it by pushing the side fasteners inwards and pull out the filter. Replacement is a reverse of the above.

It's possible that both front and rear washer pumps are located in the washer bottle. You could try on-line second hand spares for a bottle.

You don't give model of car ? But presuming it's a Avensis Mk 2, pollen filter is as stated in above posting. Washer bottle pumps behind o/s/f wing & inner wheel liner both side by side, rear RED top pump for rear wash/wipe if fitted & BLACK top pump for front wash/wipe.

i tried this on my avensis 2001 d4d 1cdftv engine. I cannot locate the pollen filter behind the glove box. I got the glove box off removing two black plastic pins on hinges at bottom. where the pollen filter is beats me. Any help appreciated thanks

The info above relates to the 2003-2008 T25 shape I believe.
