Not having subscribed to any forums before, apologies in advance if I accidentally fall foul of etiquette.

Purchased a Yaris 1.3 T Spirit Auto(2005 Model) last week, a downsizing exercise, kids having flown the nest! Had a Corolla about 6 years ago, was most impressed with build quality at the time, hence the decision this time for another Toyota. Early days, but Yaris is quite comfy and refined. Live in Harrow, NW London and work in Central London, so Yaris is a sensible balance. Like tinkering with cars, do my own servicing and minor repairs. (Tried to fit mudflaps to the Yaris last weekend - front ones a doddle, rear ones not so easy, left it for another time when the rain came down! Looking forward to the discussions in the forums - looks like a lively and supportive community.
