God I Miss The Spare Wheel

Yesterday a friend had the misfortune of picking up a 9" piece of steel rod in a tyre on his XTR (No sparewheel).It was sticking out approx 3" so he couldn't leave it in and had to remove it then put in the sealant which was no good as the hole left was too big to seal.Luckily I only lived about 3 miles away and turned up with a coach screw which was put in the hole and managed to get him home. I have seen plug kits in motorcycle shops does anyone know if they will suit a car tyre (As a get you home fix) and must he get a replacement sealant from toyota or is there a cheaper alterative. Bit of a worry having no spare wheel - chances are he might never have a puncture again but you can't risk it.

What about a rear door marketplace where someone can offer a "wheel free" door for one with in the same colour?

Anyone got their eye on my "with wheel" Vermilion Red rear door can bgr off but you get the picture!!!

I was round at you neighbour's the other day but you looked absent. Out looking for mud or snow I guess!
