hi guys, please could anyone advise whether the rear motor mount from a Facelift CTS will fit a prefacelift CTS? the rubber pattern on the engine mounty bit is a different pattern but the same fitment. Does the base part bolt straight onto the pre facelift chassis without any issues?

if anyone knows, or knows anyone who can find out i would be really grateful.

thanks

Nickg

UPDATE!!

Fixed, the facelift motormount DOES fit the prefacelift Corolla TSport.

ONLY the facelift REAR motormount works 100% with the ES Inserts.

I RECOMMEND

right on bro B) . thats actually what i did, BUT the rears dont fit the pre facelift mount, they only fit the facelifted rear mount,

i bought a facelift mount last weekend froma scrapper to ensure the ES Insert fits, but i am not 100% that the mount itself fits onto the chassis of my car:/

Dont waste your time on these toyota motor mounts..

Buy this :)

resolved. fitted a motormount from an 05 registered Facelift Corolla to my prefacelift 04 corolla TS at the garage today. about a 2 hour job to get it done, as there is a lot of crap blocking access etc.

this is the pre facelift mount

this is the facelift mount, which the ES inserts fit perfectly.

Results? the engine noise has more or less gone up by 50% inside the cabin at 4000rpm+

the rear view mirror vibrates making it difficult to use properly.

Overall, great im really happy:)

BTW the garage does not recomend most people to try to swap the rear mount, the Transmission really needs to be dropped and things "moved" to get good access really. he did it ithout dropping the trans but he said it was an absolute pig to do it. its at least 2 hours labour so prepare for that if you want to do this to your motor!
