Hi, I have a 1991 Trueno GT APEX with the 20v 4AGE now I was wondering if anyone knows or has had any experience with changing the distributor setup to an after market one?

At the moment I am running the factory setup but I would like to be able to use after market 8mm leads but the factory setup has those stupid special clips and I've been told the only place to get leads is from toyota directly.

I would like to be able to use the generic 8mm standard leads from my local automotive parts shops like most other cars use but dont know exactly how to go about doing it?

Any ideas would be very much appreciated.
