Has anyone ever fitted one of these K & N Air Filters to their 2.2 D4D Avensis, and what were results?

Am thinking of trying, but would like to know if worth the "capital outlay". Do they actually improve engine breathing / performance?

Regards,

Big Kev

Have a one on my petrol, not much help to you tellin you that though, but i do have a few friends with k&ns on their diesel and it doesn't make %$( all difference power wise, its generally only in the noise department, where you are gauranteed to get a slightly deeper but still diesel sound out of your engine. I suppose they are better for feeding your car with air, more is available on demand. If it was me, i'd put it on a diesel too.

Cheers for reply, Molester. Don't think I'll bother.
