Does anyone know how hard is it to fit the ipod cable to the SR with built in (Tomtom) Navi unit?

Secondly how often and to what extent to these cars need to be serviced?

Thanks :)

Servicing is annually or every 10k miles which ever arrives first.

Regards The I-Pod wire, I was gonna do the same, but plugging it in the front into the USB plug works so im not gonna bother.

  • 2 weeks later...

My iPod shuffle and Nano works by just plugging in the USB charger cable, it takes a little longer to index.... but it works!

however, my brothers Touch and my mates iPhone dont work... they are not "Removable Storage".

If you want to use it all the time.. get the Toyota cable as it doesnt index the iPod and it alot quicker!

Cool. Collect the car this weekend hopefully, still trying to get the dealer to install it for a nominal price. I'm looking to just connect it and leave it in the car permenantly. I dont mind paying a nominal amount of money for the extra peace of mind it will offer hiding the ipod away.

Thanks for all your response. I'm still interested in hearing more about the servicing, like what do bigger services consist of and how often are spark plugs etc changed?
