Its been a long day and it was Fu*king cold outside and patrick (the guy taking the photo) was on his fourth shot and taking far to long about it!

Headlights are due in 3-4 weeks, i'm gonna start the instructions soon which will be fun, 3 million photos to prepare as well as text - not fun

Any way I like the title of the link - we should have a competition to see who can come up with the longest one that actually (jimlad!) relates to an MR2 related subject.

Well i've spoke to you on the phone a couple and I understood you fine!

I think this year at JAE we should all sit round a large bonfire saturday night and listen to jims stories, and for those who can't understand him, i'll have a go at translating! Should be good this year though, just hope the weather holds up.

I think we'll all struggle to make conversation without a PC infront of us .. I recon we set up a LOC/TOC LAN just so we can chat ..

JAE is the official site .. I was with IMOC last 2 years .. dunno where I'll be for this. Either way it'll be drunk

It'll need damping .. and I've got a 120GB disk, so I'd be ****** to loose 40 games ..

Dont worry bibbs, by the time you realise you've fu*ked it you'll be hammered anyway. Hey i'm sure paul will bring his screwdribers and soldering iron, so there's nothing to worry about!

well i think we will have to design some form of dampening into the xbox cradle we are gonna design then wont we, the more you spend on it the better it will be! there are lots of forms of damping, could even make up our own solution of gells to have as a base!

lucky for you guys i did my engineering aprenticeship in the Ministry of defence, and specialised in military packaging (for stuff that had to be dropped over 2 meters and survive!) survive artic weather etc.

so hopefully we will be able to keep your xbox alive till JAE.

That sound like a cool job, whats the biggest thing you've ever packaged and how far did it have to drop - how do you test that sort of thing?

We used to call that Para-proof ..

yup thats the term too (para proof) funnily enough one of the tests for ammo boxes etc was to just push them off the back of lorries and land rovers!

as they dont seem to understand the volatility of explosive substances!

It was a realy cool job, but the money just wasnt there.

Biggest thing we designed packages for was warship surface to air missiles. they were like coffins! giant, two people could fit in, but as soon as they got them on the ships they would just chuck them over board! but cost was about £50,000 a box. dumb ***** stowers!
