Advice On Issues

Hi

PLEASE REPLY ON YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS SUBJECT

SHOULD I CONTACT MY TOYOTA DEALER ?

I have a Toyota Auris 1.6 TR, it is now about 15 months old and has done

about 13,000 + miles

1st issue

the Rear wheels are getting dirty with brake dust real quick whilst the front

alloys are still pretty clean.... the brakes on both the front and rear have been

changed on warranty due to a couple of problems before

Should I tell the dealer about this ? does anyone think there may be a problem

with the brakes that is worthy of toyota checking on the warranty ??

2nd issue :o

i now feel that 10,000 miles plus the car isn't handling very well, and has quite a bit

of body roll ( hope this is not a tyre issue ) is anyone else feeling the same way

or does anyone think there could be an issue with the car

I am looking forward to hearing feedback from you... The more reply's the better

regardless of detail

Hi Stuart

On the first issue, I am 100% certain you will not get anywhere with Toyota or your dealership ,with excessive brake dust.

The fact is each and every car makes brake dust, and although i agree with you, the rear brakes on the Auris make an excessive amount, i am not so sure its an issue.

On your second point , the excessive body roll you describe, could be down to worn suspension , and i would certainly have the suspension checked for wear . So why not give Mr T a call , and get the car booked in A.S.A.P , ....... because If the car does have a handling problem , you realy should not delay ,

All the best with it , and let us know how you get on

THANKS :D

I spoke to Square Deal Motors ( Toyota Dealer in Falkirk ) who has booked the car in firstly to check

the brakes and they are going to test drive the car also

I'll let you know in 10 days time
